What kind of Black Friday was THAT??

So I have to say, I was heartily disappointed in the caliber of sales going on for Black Friday. I didn’t even bother waking up early because there was really nothing worth getting up early for, in my opinion. Though tons of places added sales for Thanksgiving Day itself, which is just a travesty to me. I kind of like having everything close down for a holiday. That’s part of what makes it feel really, I don’t know, holidayish. I found out later we could have gotten a Wii fit at Meijer Thanksgiving Day for the best deal we’re likely to find all season while we were there picking up the celery I forgot… but I didn’t find that out until Friday. But other than that, I’d say Black Friday was a bust.
I TOTALLY agree! I was sincerely disappointed and unmotivated to wake up any earlier than I normally do. However, I still wanted the thrill of shopping on Black Friday, so I went out around 10am for a couple hours, bought a few kitchen things I’ve had my eye on and then went home.
